Built Heritage

The Jaipur Virasat Foundation's mission to preserve Rajasthan's cultural heritage is not limited to supporting local artists and craftsmen. JVF recognises the integral role of built heritage in the health of Rajasthan's local culture and art. Through partnerships with the Government of Rajasthan and non-profit partners such as Dronah, JVF provides support and assistance to projects promoting indigenous building methods and materials. JVF also works to preserve Jaipur's architectural wealth through the commission of plans for heritage preservation projects as well as working with local authorities to integrate plans for Heritage preservation with city development plans.
